Join SMPS Oregon as we team up to support the American Heart Association and participate in the Heart Walk.

We’re not just walking. We’re Heartwalking. Our participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020. Please help us reach this lifesaving goal by joining our team today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.

Who can join?
Anyone! Significant others, children, and family (including the dog) are all welcome to join our team. 

Where do we meet?
SMPS will be meeting at the Salmon Street fountain on the waterfront at 8:15 am. Look out for our SMPS sign.

How long is the walk?
The three-mile walk takes approximately one hour, walking at an average pace. Click here to download a PDF version of the route map. There is also a shorter, one-mile route option for survivors.

What is SMPS Oregon’s fundraising goal?
Our goal is to raise $2,000 to support the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. We welcome and encourage all donations! Visit our team page to learn more about contributing.
