Congratulations to all the 2017 SMPS Oregon Marketing Award nominees! This year’s winners are:

Chapter Member of the Year
Heidi Bergh Riggs, CPSM, Parametrix

Heidi serves on the Communications committee for SMPS Oregon. She does a fabulous job of leading the graphic design of our chapter’s marketing collateral, producing print and web collateral for the entire chapter under multiple quick turn-around deadlines. Heidi was nominated by her committee Director, Kate Kearney, for her active engagement within the Communications committee and the behind-the-scenes support she provides to our chapter.

Marketing Achievement Award
Stacy Riger, CPSM, PAE

Stacy is our current chapter Treasurer and was nominated by Nick Collins at PAE for her significant marketing and BD efforts that contributed to PAE’s 187% growth in revenue and a 50% conversion from shortlist to win. She developed custom KPIs, including tracking hit rate by sector and contract value to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation. She also led successful PR campaigns with coverage in the New York Times and TIME magazine, expanding PAE’s geographic footprint and sparking inquiries from leading national and international design firms, as well as developing a new website that reflects PAE’s capabilities and culture, serves as a thought leadership portal, and reinforces a consistent brand experience.

Influential Leader Award
Samantha Jordan, Emerick Construction

Samantha is our Director at Large and was nominated by Christina Fell and Lauren Reese for her outstanding work as a leader and mentor to many of us in the A/E/C industry. She is a true mentor, whether it be through her work with SMPS or the many other organizations she serves in a leadership role (NAWIC, Portland Community Toolbank, Girl Scouts of America, the list goes on…) Samantha gives her time and talents selflessly. For her efforts, she has been recognized by the Daily Journal of Commerce as a Woman of Vision. Her commitment to Emerick, as well as her commitment to the many organizations she supports is astounding.
